Support at OSM is not a call centre and not a script. Our team of four handles every message, sits ten metres from the engineers, and files the bugs it finds directly.
The job is technical. Most of what reaches you has already failed the obvious checks, and the satisfying part is working out why.
What you would do
- Answer email and phone support for customers across six countries, in English.
- Diagnose network, HDMI and app faults from a description and a photograph.
- Decide when something is a warranty claim and get the replacement moving the same day.
- Write and update Help Center guides based on what you keep being asked.
- Feed patterns back to engineering with enough evidence to act on.
What we are looking for
- Two or more years in technical support for a physical product.
- Genuine comfort with home networking — routers, bands, DNS, ISP throttling.
- Excellent written English; the inbox is the product for the people you talk to.
- The patience to explain the same thing three different ways.
Nice to have, genuinely optional
- A second language among Danish, Norwegian, Finnish, German or Māori.
- Experience writing documentation people actually finish reading.
